Ballast Point Shows Interest In New Richmond, VA Brewery?

imageThe rumors have been flying around for a few weeks, but here’s the first “confirmation” about Ballast Point from the Richmond Times:

Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits, a California-based craft brewery and distillery, has recently taken an interest in Richmond for a potential expansion, according to multiple state and local sources.

A Ballast Point spokesperson declined to comment.

"We'd prefer not to comment on any future expansion plans," Hilary Cocalis, director of marketing, said in an email.
