From Worthy:
To bring in the new year, Worthy Brewing will again release two of their seasonal beers, both on draft and in bottles.
Available at Worthy’s pub now and in stores on February 2, Dark Muse Imperial Stout is back for a second vintage. At 10.1% ABV, this monster stout is smooth, complex, and dark with a rich body, roasty character and loads of warmth. A touch of bitterness rounds out the 60 IBUs with a full mouthfeel and round finish. The limited release of 22-ounce bottles and draft is ready to drink now or hold on to for years to come. Worthy’s brewmaster, Chad Kennedy, considers this the ultimate cold weather beer, meant to warm the body and awaken the soul with the first sip.
Releasing mid-February, Local 36 Red Lager comes in at 5.2% ABV with 42 IBUs, delivering a smooth, clean, and happily hopped finish. The robust red lager was brewed with a mix of domestic and imported malts and spiced with Ultra, a rare Oregon-grown aroma hop with Noble Bavarian roots. The beer is dedicated to the Local 36 Asbestos Workers Union in Portland, Oregon, as a way of saying thank you for their dedication and sacrifices. Local 36 had a very limited release in 2014 and has been added to Worthy’s seasonal line-up.
The very limited release of 22-ounce bottles and kegs for each beer will be distributed by Columbia Distribution in Oregon and Washington, Hodgen Distributing in Eastern Oregon, and by Hayden Beverage in Idaho.
