MIDDLEBURY, VT September 25, 2014  Woodchuck Hard Cider

is thrilled to announce the introduction of “Out on a Limb™” to their lineup of award-winning craft ciders. The six-pack is a first of its kind in the industry, featuring the same six-pack design year-round, with an ever-changing rotation of bottled cider styles within. The packaging innovation is only topped by the innovation of the liquid within.

“As the leading craft cider in the country we take pride in pushing the boundaries of what is being done in the category and living ‘out on a limb’,” said Woodchuck Communications Manager, Nate Formalarie. “Truly unique ciders are crafted at Woodchuck’s cidery each day. All of these ciders are handcrafted with creative artistry. Out on a Limb represents those that we think the world is ready for.”

The cider style within the six-pack will rotate every 45 to 60 days. Kicking off the Out on a Limb line extension is Woodchuck Chocolate Raspberry, which is infused with cacao nibs and raspberries for a bright apple character with smooth notes of chocolate and raspberry throughout. The suggested retail price for Out on a Limb is $10.99.

Also hitting shelves in October is the popular Woodchuck Private Reserve Pumpkin Cider crafted to capture the true, naked pumpkin profile with no additional spices added. The Private Reserve Pumpkin will be available in limited quantities through November. (SRP - $10.99)

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Woodchuck will rerelease their Private Reserve Pink Cider on draft across the country. Woodchuck Pink was created to honor the efforts of Survivorship NOW, a Vermont-based survivor organization, and features a pink hue through the use of grape skin extract during the cider making process.

Finally, Woodchuck is thrilled to announce the launch of its first ever mobile app, designed to help people learn more about Woodchuck ciders as well as locate them near the ciders near them. It is available in both the iTunes app storeand on Google Play.
