You can't judge a book by it's cover and you can't judge a beer that shows up for a radio show in a box marked 'Artificial Crab Meat - Product of Thailand'!
Laren Avery's 'Morning Gourd' pumpkin coffee hefeweizen is a fine blend of clovey, roasty coffee with a refreshingly subtle hint, just a hint, of 'punkin'! Good beer!
Thanks for being on the show Laren, thank you Bill from MyBeerBuzz.com, and thank YOU for listening!

Great interview. Wandering Willow Brewing Company is up to some interesting things--I'm going to make it a point to find their beer and give it a try.
ReplyDeleteIf Laren Avery is this creative with his brewing, he's got a long and storied career ahead of him. Best wishes to both him and Wandering Willow!
