we are upping our game to debut a top-shelf original! Treasure Chest 2014 is a Barrel-aged, Belgian-style Saison with Plum. This specialty beer starts out as a Saison, is then fermented in foudres, and aged for 6-months in red wine barrels with Brettanomyces and Italian plum puree. It emerges from the barrel with an event-appropriate pink hue and features delicate notes of tart plum, almond and rosewater balanced by the wild yeast and subtle tannins drawn from the barrel. A mouthwatering, dry finish rounds out the flavor of Treasure Chest 2014 – making this year’s beer an exceptional barrel-aged offering.
