Dog Tag Brewing is proud to announce three exclusive partnerships in Pennsylvania with Banko Beverage in Allentown, Henry Voelcker Inc. in Danville and Beermart in Reading, all together bringing the beer to 23 counties in the eastern half of the state.
Combat veteran-owned Dog Tag Brewing provides quality brews that deliver a message of gratitude for the selfless sacrifice of our nation’s military. The company currently produces two craft brews, an IPA and a Lager, packaged in 12 oz. cans that are each dedicated to a different fallen U.S. service member. Dog Tag Brewing is the first beer company in North America to utilize a new printing technology offered by Rexam, where numerous designs of the same label can be produced simultaneously on a single pallet. This innovative design technology enables Dog Tag Brewing to tell the story of a different fallen hero on the back of each can, resulting in variety within a single compelling six-pack.
The Keystone State is an important market for Dog Tag Brewing, not only because of its deep sense of patriotism and propensity to welcome new craft beers within its borders, but because Pennsylvania is a state with a proud military heritage and is home to many of our nation’s finest warriors. Two of the fallen heroes currently honored by Dog Tag Brewing hail from the small towns of Jim Thorpe and Shamokin. Sgt. Andrew Baddick and Sgt. Matthew Sandri, both soldiers in the United States Army, laid down their lives for our country during the War on Terror in Iraq in 2003 and 2004. Both of their families will now be able to walk into a store and purchase a six-pack or two of Dog Tag beer and find their warrior’s name and story on select cans.
