In a few days you’ll see this beer elsewhere on the mighty interweb, but here’s your very first look at a new beer from Deschutes. This is Zarabanda and it is an ale with lemon verbena, pink peppercorns, sumac ( a spice made from flowers) and dried lime. This beer is brewed in collaboration with Chef
José Andrés and it is a “Spanish take” on a Farmhouse Saison. Look for Zarabanda to be packaged in 22oz bottles.
Update 22 Oct 2014…..based on the approved labels below, Deschutes Zarabanda will come in at EITHER 6.3 or 6/7% ABV.
