After an exhaustive search that crisscrossed the country, Bud Light has announced Crested Butte, Colorado, as the location selected for Whatever, USA. The Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens will partner with the town beginning Friday, Sept. 5 and create the ultimate #UpForWhatever weekend of spontaneous fun. Crested Butte was selected to host Whatever, USA, for its breathtaking natural beauty and colorful cast of characters that make up the town.
Famous for taking over cruise ships, branding hotels and providing consumers who are #UpForWhatever with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, Bud Light’s next adventure is the brand’s largest yet. From Sept. 5-7, Bud Light will partner with the town of Crested Butte, transforming it into Whatever, USA, a town full of unique and unexpected experiences that rewards consumers 21 and over who embody the #UpForWhatever spirit with an unforgettable weekend.
“Ever since we were first approached by Bud Light earlier this summer, we’ve been impressed with the creativity and level of detail they’ve put into the planning process for Whatever, USA,” said Crested Butte Mayor, Aaron Huckstep. “This is going to be an incredible event for our community that will help bring the beauty of Crested Butte to a 1,000 new visitors.”
Over the course of the past 12 weeks, more than 150,000 people from across the US have created video submissions on www.UpForWhatever.com for the chance to come visit Whatever, USA.
