From Sun King:

Popcorn Pilsner will be released at a special tapping party that will coincide with the Indianapolis Indians' game on Thursday, May 15th.  The tapping will take place in the Cove at Victory Field.  Our great friends at Just Pop In! popped around 1,600 pounds of popcorn (that's a lot of kernels popped!) that the SKB Brew Deck used to make this crisp, dry German-Style pilsner crafted by Indiana-grown Riehle's Select popcorn. Come join in the fun and hangout with the SKB Crew while the Indians ' take on the Pawtucket Red Sox.  For more insight on Popcorn Pilsner, check out this great video produced by Cantalope.tv.  Stay tuned to our social media for a chance to win tickets to game!

• May is revving up to be a busy month at Sun King, including two King's Reserve Series releases!   Our King's Reserve Series features our small batch, barrel-aged, or sour beers, all packaged in resealable 16oz. Alumi-Tek cans.

We will be releasing Hop Up Offa That Brett a Belgian-Style Golden Ale fermented with Brettanomyces, a wild yeast that imparts a funky character, and then dry hopped. The result is a beer with subtle bitterness balanced by flavors of lemon meringue, peach, and apricot.  (ABV: 5.8%   IBU: 20)

The release will take place on Thursday, May 8th at noon in the Sun King Tasting Room.  Patrons will be limited to two 2-packs per person.  2-packs will cost $14 each.

Like the Hop Up Offa That Brett release, Port Barrel Wee Mac release will take place on Thursday, May 22nd at noon in the Sun King Tasting Room.  Patrons will be limited to two 2-packs per person.  2-packs will cost $14 each.
