From Pinelands Brewing Co:

Little Egg Harbor, NJ, February 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Pinelands Brewing Company, South Jersey’s newest craft brewery, will open its doors to the public on March 1, 2014. Pinelands Brewing Company is a nano-brewery that will make hand-crafted ales of historic character right from the edge of the Pines.

With a name inspired by the Pinelands National Reserve - a region most famous for its hiking trails, camping and American history - the brewing company will produce a product that reflects and embodies the local pride and spirit so famously connected to the area.
The company is led by Founder and Brew Master, Jason Chapman, who has been an avid home brewer since 2000, creating beers that reflect his love for nature. Other members of the brew team include four Richard Stockton College of New Jersey graduates and South Jersey natives: Nick Brown, Luke McCooley, Sean Collins and John Kugler.

“From our heritage to our beers to our equipment, Pinelands Brewing Company has a unique story,” said Chapman. “And our story has everything to do with our surroundings. Pristine, natural and timeless, we think it's important to keep Pinelands at the center of all that we do.”

Blue Collar Craft Beer Brewed with Pride

The Pinelands Brewing Company team uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients and water from the Kirkwood-Cohansey Aquifer, which contains an estimated 17.7 trillion gallons of the best all-natural drinking water in the world.

There are no preservatives, no filters; just carefully crafted ales using the four basic ingredients of beer – malted grain, hops, yeast and exceptionally clean water.
The brewery and its equipment were designed and built by Chapman and his team. The custom built 3-barrel brewing system and homemade keg-washer are one of a kind.

On Tap Now:

Masons Wheat - The American Witbier is generously spiced with lemon peel and coriander for an authentic fresh wheat ale. Single hopped with whole leaf for the freshest flavor possible.

Evan John Porter - Robust Porter at heart and infused with a delicate vanilla flavor using the finest whole vanilla bean pods. This creates a pleasant balance to the dark maltiness of the Porter.

Evergreen IPA - A true-to-style American India Pale Ale (IPA) loaded with whole leaf hops in the kettle and to heighten the hop enjoyment, dry hopped during conditioning. The Pines are home to about 20 native tree species, many of them evergreens.

Pitch Pine Ale - Classic, clean and balanced American Pale Ale (APA) featuring a malty backbone and fresh leaf hop flavor. The pitch pine is also the most prominent tree in the Pines.

Great Bay IRA - Malty Red Ale with the hop bite of an India Pale Ale. Red Ales have the feel of the rust colored streams in the Pines. Some of those streams feed right into Great Bay, where the Mullica River meets the Atlantic Ocean just North of Atlantic City.

Cannonball Stout - Loaded with five malts and roasted grain, this deep black American Stout exhibits the flavors of the dark grains. A tribute to the iron ore industry of the Pines where cannonballs were made for the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.

Soda:
Old Fashion Vanilla Cream Soda - The same whole bean vanilla pods are used as the Evan John Porter to create a rich and creamy homemade soda. Consumers can bring their own ice cream for an instant classic.

Autumn Red Birch Beer - Mild red like an autumn day this crisp and fresh Birch Beer is a olde time favorite.

Grand Opening
Pinelands Brewing Company will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, March 1st from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Media are invited to attend from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for private tastings, tours and a meet and greet with the Brew Master and his team.

The brewery is located at 140 7th Ave in Little Egg Harbor, NJ just 2.5 miles off exit 58 of the Garden State Parkway. For more information visit www.pinelandsbrewing.com.
