The first Friday Beer Buzz of 2014 and the first time our beer loving expert and all-things-brewed aficionado, Bill from MyBeerBuzz.com 'phoned it in'! lol
Hey, if we could do what we love to do while we're home sitting on the couch looking out the window, there'd be a line to sign up for it!
Enjoyed some Brooklyn Brewing 'Monster Ale' today and while I'm not by nature a barleywine lover, this one was surprisingly tasty. English-style barleywine says Bill so maybe I've been trying the American versions. Liked it a lot.
And while they're not makin' it any more, it ages well (the one we sampled today was from 2009!) so if you see some on a shelf or in a cooler, give it a try!
Thanks Bill and thanks to YOU for listening! And Happy New Year!
