From White Birch:
Our brewers are starting the new year off right by brewing up two of our biggest and baddest beers, Indulgence Ale and Ol' Cattywhompus! We're only producing one batch each which results to less then 1200 bottles.
Indulgence Ale was first brewed in March of 2010. It's a Belgian Style Imperial Stout with sweet chocolate aromas followed by dark chocolate and coffee notes in the finish. It's smooth, deceptive and decadent and this years batch comes in at 10% abv.
Ol' Cattywhompus was first brewed in the winter of 2012. It's an English style barleywine which implies that it's less hoppy and more malty then most American style barleywines. The focus here is on rich malt flavor an enough earthy UK hops to keep it all balanced. Smooth and rich, it's the perfect beer for a cold winters night at 10% abv.
