You may have noticed that mybeerbuzz was able to pick up the latest labels today despite any government shutdown, however that party has ended. The good news is I managed to get the labels BEFORE the buffoonery officially kicked in and only mybeerbuzz has them. The bad news is no new beers will be approved until after the dog & pony show comes to an end. Despite not being able to accomplish anything else, our illustrious legislators did manage to find time to post this update on the US Treasury website:
- TTB would halt its regulatory functions, non-criminal investigative activities and audit functions. However, TTB would ensure that all tax remittances are processed because these functions are deemed necessary for safety and protection of property.
