DENVER & CABO, Mexico/mbb/--Baja Brewing Company, the first brewery in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, is proud to announce that Cabotella (“cabo-tay-ya”), its flagship ale, is widely available in four states in the American Southwest.

“Cabotella brings the best of both worlds together for people who love Mexican beer. We’ve created a new kind of taste experience – one that’s full of flavor while being easy to drink and refreshing”

Since its founding in 2007, the Baja Brewing Company has been pushing the boundaries of Mexican beer. Cabotella is the result of six years of testing and refining recipes. Jordan Gardenhire, Baja Brewing Company’s brewmaster, drew upon feedback from customers at the brewery’s three brewpubs in the Cabo San Lucas area to create this authentic Mexican ale that unites premium ale flavor with the thirst-quenching appeal of an authentic cerveza.

Crafted in small batches using 100-percent malted, premium two-row barley, Cabotella is made from all-natural ingredients – no preservatives or additives. The result is a golden, medium-bodied, 5.5 percent alcohol-by-volume blonde ale.

“Cabotella brings the best of both worlds together for people who love Mexican beer. We’ve created a new kind of taste experience – one that’s full of flavor while being easy to drink and refreshing,” said Jordan Gardenhire, brewmaster and co-founder, Baja Brewing Company. “We’re excited to share this authentic Cabo experience with Mexican beer-drinkers in the Southwest.”

Baja Brewing Company combines the attention to detail that goes into Colorado craft beer with the spirit of Cabo – a place of dualities where the desert meets the ocean and adventurous days blend into festive nights – to create Cabotella.

Cabotella is now widely available in restaurants, bars, and liquor stores throughout Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas with plans for further expansion in the Southwest. Distribution is handled by Southern Wine & Spirits in Arizona and New Mexico, Baroness in Colorado, and both L&F and Intwine Distributors in Texas.
