From Redhook & Buffalo Wild Wings:

Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. announced today it is offering a new craft beer from Redhook Brewery that was designed to pair with wings. The beer, called Game Changer, will be on tap in all Buffalo Wild Wings locations throughout the U.S. beginning July 15.

It will not be available for purchase in bottles at retail.

Prior to the rollout, Redhook tapped into Buffalo Wild Wings' most loyal guests to understand what type of beer they would prefer and for the name.

"We're all about 'Wings. Beer. Sports.,' and we are always looking for new offerings to enhance the guest experience at our restaurants," said Kathy Benning, Buffalo Wild Wings executive vice president – global marketing, brand and business development. "Our guests, above all, are sports fans, and they're looking for that social environment to enjoy the game with their friends. We're excited to offer them Game Changer, knowing that it was created with them in mind."

Redhook Game Changer is a pale ale with a rich amber color. It is balanced with a blend of caramel malts and American-grown hops to complement hot, spicy wings without overpowering the palate. Its alcohol by volume content is 4.6 percent.

"Wings and sports go hand-in-hand, and we know there is demand for a good, flavorful draught beer to complement the two," said Andy Thomas, president of Commercial Operations at Craft Brew Alliance, Inc., the independent craft brewing company operating Redhook Brewery. "Redhook Game Changer was created for that purpose. It's an approachable craft beer that's not too heavy or too high in alcohol, so people can enjoy drinking it responsibly over the course of a whole game."

With more than 925 locations in North America, Buffalo Wild Wings serves more than 50 different beer brands — including 30 craft brands.
