4 Hands Brewing Announces Spring & Summer Seasonals

4 Hands Brewing a craft brewery located in St. Louis Missouri, will be releasing a handful of seasonal offerings during the Spring and Summer months.

Up first is Contact High, a dry hopped wheat ale that we also fresh zest with blood orange zest. Contact high pours a bright orange hue with a big citrus aroma. 5% Alc. / Vol. 35 IBU’s

Prunus Saison will be second. The name Prunus originates from the genus of the cherry tree. Prunus is a French Saison brewed with 80 pounds of sour cherries and Brettanomyces Claussenii. This year we have teamed up with Bryan Clauser, our GABF pro-am winner, to re-create this offering. Prunus pours rose in color with aromas of cherry, vanilla, funk and spice. 6% Alc. / Vol.

Prussia Berliner Weisse is next. The name Prussia originates from Frederick the Great. Frederick was trained to brew this very delicate style of beer and later became the King of Prussia. Our interpretation of the Berliner Weisse style is very traditional. Prussia pours a hazy straw hue with a clean tart finish. 3.5% Alc. / Vol.

Finally we have Ruby Red Prussia, our non-traditional version of Prussia. After a 24-hour sour mash and during fermentation we will add fresh ruby red grapefruit juice. Ruby Red Prussia pours a slight pink hue with aromas of grapefruit and citrus. 3.5% Alc. / Vol.
