From White Birch:

This spring we are happy to introduce two new beers to our lineup as well as the return of an old favorite.

  • Our Humble Porter - New for 2013, Our Humble Porter is inspired by the 19th Century porters of England. Dark brown in color with rich malts and 6% abv.
  • First Sparrow - New for 2013, First Sparrow is a contemporary take on the near forgotten Grodziski style. Smoked and heavily hopped, it's brewed with wheat and Rauchmalts, German hops and is only 3.8% abv. Check out which beer is #9 on the Food Republic list of the 10 Craft Beers On Our Radar This Spring
  • Tripel - Returning this year is our classic Tripel brewed since the early days of White Birch. Our Tripel is elegant, blonde, a little spicy and deceptively smooth at 9% abv.
Also from our Brewers Reserve Series, we're happy to announce the release of:
  • Oak Sennex Torva Saison - The last time we released this beer was in July of 2010. For this years batch we aged our Saison for a year and a half in pinot noir barrels with brettanomyces. We blended 4 barrels together to create a wild ale that's golden with amber hues, a beautiful spicy fruit note and a crisp tart finish at 8.3% abv.
Stop by the brewery for a sample or ask for them at your favorite store or restaurant.

Small Batch Ale release, March 29
Join us at the brewery on Friday, March 29 as we welcome members of the Concord Area Homebrewers club for the release of a collaborative Small Batch Ale. The brewers have been working on this project for over a year now resulting in what we are calling batch: CAHB Oud Bruin.

Oud Bruin is a style of beer from the Flemish region of Belgium. Our interpretation was aged in oak barrels and fermented with wild yeast to create wonderfuly sour flavors. Stop by the brewery that night to meet the brewers, try the beer and ask questions. The beer will be available for purchase in corked 750 ml bottles.
