From great Crescent brewery:
(Aurora, IN) – Great Crescent Brewery has teamed-up with Palmer Canning of Chicago, IL to install a new canning line. The system being installed is a Monobloc-33 Can Per Minute Turn-Key System and is a fully automatic Isobaric Micro-Canning Line designed specifically for Craft Breweries. The system incorporates all components to complete the canning process including automatic empty can de-palletizing, in-line can washing, dryer system and date code printing. The installation will begin in March 2013 to prepare the site and install peripheral equipment and components. Final delivery and installation of the canning line is scheduled for mid-April 2013.
Demand for Great Crescent Brewery beer packaged in pint cans has steadily increased over the past 12 months and in order to ensure high quality and meet demands it became necessary to expand packaging capability. This state-of-the-art equipment is a great fit for Great Crescent Brewery’s requirements and afforded both companies an opportunity to team-up for mutual benefit. Since Great Crescent Brewery’s location is very central to the Mid-west they will provide a showcase for this equipment where future customers of Palmer Canning will have the ability to see it in operation. Palmer Canning agreed to work within the brewery budget to make this happen.
