There would be nothing holding back supermarkets from purchasing distributor licenses and adding a wine and spirits license to carry beer, wine and spirits.
“There's no chance to really ramp up and get our feet under us and stabilized. Other chains out there have been doing this for years. They are machines waiting to roll in and gobble us up,” Tanczos added.
