Trinity Brewing Expands Colorado Distribution

Some updates from Trinity Brewing from Eric Gorski @ The Denver Post:

The distribution contract is signed – Yester said he isn’t quite ready to identify the distributor – and the plan is to focus on the higher population areas of Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins. Those areas will start getting greater volumes of Trinity beer starting the first week of March. Mountain towns west to Glenwood Springs also are in line for Trinity, but not in large volume.

The brewery expanded last year from a four-barrel system to a 12-barrel system. Production in 2012 grew 50.5 percent – to 820 barrels, Yester said. He expects production to grow again this year another 35 to 40 percent.

Trinity recently rented an additional 2,000 feet next door that had been sitting vacant, which Yester will fill with 75 to 80 barrels for bottled production of wild and sour beers.
