For Collins Maibock & ”For Whom The Belg Tolls” Both Coming 3/5

From Fort Collins Brewery:

No, not a real goat. We're talking about Maibock! We're tapping this long-aging lager at our Tasting Room on Tuesday March 5th for Tap Club members and Wednesday March 6th for the rest of you beer lovers who haven't joined up yet. And you'll be able to find it on draught and in 22oz bottles wherever FCB beer is sold soon after.

Why the goat references? This is a time honored pun because bock means goat in German. There's more to the story than that, but rather than go through it here, we'll refer you to that epitome of scholarship,
Wikipedia.

Maibock Stats:
Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 6.4%
Hop Bitterness (IBU): 34
Color (SRM): 22

It tolls for thee! But don't worry, the tolling of the Belg is not so ominous as the tolling of the Bell. It just means it's time for you to stop in the Tasting Room to try the latest in our limited release, draught only Tap Club series.

This Belgian session beer features tons of carmel and malt character, but dials back to a relatively low alcohol content. Hints of spice from the yeast are balanced with citrus notes from the hops.

Like Maibock, For Whom the Belg Tolls will be available at the Tasting Room to Tap Club members beginning March 5th, and everyone else can get a pint or growler starting March 6th. Also look for it at a few select bars and restaurants in Fort Collins.
