Beer & release details fro the Deschutes / Rogue / North Coast co-brewed Class of ‘88 Barleywine from Deschutes:
CLASS OF '88: BARLEY WINE
What were you doing in 1988? While we were wearing our acid wash jeans, watching "Who's The Boss"? and listening to Gloria Estefan...several micro breweries were making their start creating tasty craft beer like no other. In celebration of this momentous year, we've partnered up with other craft breweries, who are also celebrating their 25th Anniversary, to create a series of collaborations that will be known as Class of '88. The first of these collaborations will be with North Coast Brewing Company and Rogue Ales. We agreed on creating a Barley Wine recipe together that will be brewed at each location and then bottled, and shipped to each respective breweries' distribution area. In producing the beer this way, you have the opportunity to try all 3 versions side by side for a triple or trifecta comparison! Look for all 3 versions on shelves and on draft in late March 2013.
