Tasting Notes by Brewmaster Brian Evitts
Appearance: Dark, with a creamy, thick head
Aroma: Traditional Porter–dark roast but with a subtle hint of vanilla
Taste: Initial is a vanilla chocolate taste, followed by a roast flavor, and finishes with a slight vanilla flavor that remains.

Overall: Railhouse Vanilla Porter is our wintertime selection and only available for a short time. It’s brewed with chocolate roast, special roast malts, and finished with a specially-blended Mandagascar vanilla bean extract. The Vanilla Porter has a perfect blend of roast and vanilla flavors. The vanilla is most notable on the initial taste, with a slight follow up of vanilla on the finish. Lightly hopped so the traditional porter flavors and not hidden.
