Hi Everybody!
First off, we'd like to give a big thanks to everyone that participated in our Black Tuesday and Halloween celebrations this past week. Luckily if you didn't have a chance to get your hands on some Black Tuesday we might be releasing some more draft in the Tasting Room in the next couple of months. In the meantime we have a ton of new beers coming out in the next few weeks.
This weekend the big news is that we will be releasing our winter seasonal TONIGHT, Friday the 2nd.
5 Golden Rings is the 5th verse in our '12 Days of Christmas' winter seasonal ale series. This is the only golden ale in the bunch but it definitely packs a holiday punch. We spiced up this 11.5% ABV ode to Winter with cinnamon, allspice and ginger along with some delicious sweet and tangy pineapple. The resulting ale is a true holiday treat that can be enjoyed fresh or cellared until 2019, when 12 Drummers Drumming will be released. Bottles and draft will be available all weekend long. We will also be serving a firkin of 5 Golden Rings with extra ginger and pineapple tonight for First Firkin Friday. That variation is limited, so come on in and get some while you can!
We'd also like to remind you that our canned food drive is still going as well. By donating a can you can get access to some special brews that we normally wouldn't have on draft. This weekend 2011 Melange #3 and 2011 Oude Tart will be available to anyone that brings in a can to help out the cause! For this month we would love to see our bar top overflowing with not only beer, but donations to a good cause. Come out and support!
As usual we will also have a couple food trucks around to feed everybody. Tonight we will have the Lime Truck here serving up some award winning cuisine and Saturday and Sunday will be all about the Viking Truck and their tasty sausage treats.
