From Captain Lawrence Brewing:

November, holiday season begins and more importantly the cold weather. Why is cold weather important, because it brings in those beautiful dark and spiced beers that makes you fell all warm and toasty inside!!!

The return of the SMOKED PORTER will make many of you very happy. The dark, rich, smokey flavors will be around not only for your growlers but for purchase at the tasting room and many of your favorite bars and supermarkets in 16.9oz bottles and cases of twelve. Expected to be bottled/keged early next week just in time for your thanksgiving celebrations.

Another new beer that will be available for the winter season is the WINTER ALE. Brewed from a German Yeast strain with winter spices, this beer will shows balance between malts and spice. Another perfect way to celebrate the cold months ahead. For now this ale will only be available on tap till about the end of the month when we will begin bottling it for the season.

On November 6th go out and vote for the whichever guy you think should be president and then come here to the tasting room where we will have twelve of our pilot batch ales back on tap for you to judge and score which one is your favorite.

Remember some of these... Six and Change Black IPA, Summer Sipper, Beezerker Heather Ale, Ball Bustin Brown, those are just some of the pilot ales we will be serving again, one time only for you to vote.

Why does it matter?? Because the winning pilot ale will be remade and brought back into the tasting room for all to drink!!! Also it will be the last time you can get growlers of these beers to take home with you.
