Some good news from Alaskan Brewing:

JUNEAU, Alaska (September 27, 2012/mbb/) - Alaskan Brewing is excited to announce the launch of the Alaskan Brewing Sampler Pack. The new package features the award-winning Alaskan Amber, Alaskan IPA, Alaskan White, and a rotating Brewer's Choice selection. The twelve-packs will ship to select Pacific Northwest locations this October.

"With almost 600,000 square miles in Alaska there is always more to explore," said Alaskan Brand Manager Cindy Burchfield. "The Alaskan Sampler rewards this passion for discovery with an array of taste experiences."

In addition to the three bottles each of Alaskan's three most popular varieties, the Alaskan Sampler will feature a fourth rotating "Brewer's Choice" selection.

"We have a diverse family of beers that many don't often get the opportunity to sample," said Plant Manager Curtis Holmes, "ranging from malty to hoppy, from more the sessionable to the complex & bold. We are excited to showcase some of our more limited and seasonal products through the rotating slot in the new package."

Alaskan Brewing's flagship beer-Alaskan Amber-is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Alaska Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

The intense, complex aromatic character of the Alaskan IPA is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma and refreshing finish is a nice complement to grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Alaskan White's unique aroma of coriander complements the crisp finish of orange peel. The witbier is great paired with seafood or salads.

The Brew Crew will choose among their favorites for the fourth beer in each sampler pack based on seasonality and availability.

Alaskan expects to expand distribution of the new Sampler Pack beyond the Pacific Northwest in 2013. Learn more about where to find Alaskan Brewing products by using the online Brewfinder at alaskanbeer.com.
