Some details from the Drakes newsletter on how you can get some Aroma Coma & Aroma Prieta for yourself (full newsletter here):
If you missed the day and are experiencing a dire need to get your hands on some Aroma Coma double-dry-hopped American IPA or Aroma Prieta double-dry-hopped IPA with New Zealand hops, then here's the skinny on how to make that happen.
Both beers will be available on tap and in competition at this Saturday's 15th Annual IPA Festival in Hayward. Aroma Coma will soon be found on tap throughout California and in bottles at many local shops.
Aroma Prieta, on the other hand, is a bit trickier. There are still a limited number of bottles available at Drake's Barrel House for purchase during our normal hours (Wednesday-Thursday 3-9pm; Friday-Saturday 12-9pm; and Sunday 12-7pm). We suggest you make your trip earlier in the week than later. Also, the Barrel House is currently the only place that you will have the chance to try the Prieta on tap.
Expansion Update:
Over the last month (or so),
1. We have acquired two new 80 barrel tanks from Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles.
2. Bosch installed two new On Demand Water Heaters to help us reduce our reliance on our hot liquor tank, and therefore, brew continuously (if we want).
3. Kept up work on installing the new boil kettle and brew deck. Planning to have it operational in August
