Brau Brothers BrauFest & HopSession Super Pale Ale Coming 6/15

Some great news and a great sounding beer form Brau Brothers :

Putting the finishing touches on this year's BrauFest! There are already campers and tents on the brewery grounds, and we're starting to get excited. A few notes on what's going on this weekend:

First, Hopsession Super Pale Ale will make it's early debut!! It will be on tap at the BrauHaus as well as the brewery all weekend. In addition, a small amount has been bottled and will be available at the BrauHaus for off-sale. Hopsession's official release date is June 15th, so this is a great opportunity to try it and take a little home well ahead of it's release date. It's crazy hoppy, yet only 4.2% ABV, so you can have a couple pints this weekend.

Lucan Dan will be pulling a barrel or two from the "cellar" for barrel tasting tomorrow between noon and 3pm only. We have a Belgian "Quad" that has been in Templeton Rye Barrels (our favorite) for a couple-three months. Maybe even pull a green Rye Wyne barrel to try it pre-oak?

Cask Ale will be served in the Butler Bin right by Lake Hoppy next to the brewery. We'll have 2 or 3 casks tapped at a time - here's what we have available:

BlooJoos - MooJoos aged on fresh blueberries
Mango Citra SheepHead - As the name implies
CocoNut MooJoos - Fresh-shaved coconut in our favorite
stout
Pineapple Simcoe SheepHead - As the name implies
Bombay Sheephead - All your favorite Gin Aromatics
infused in a cask of SheepHead
Chocolate-Cherry MooJoos - Fresh Cherries and cocoa in
our Oatmeal Milk Stout.

As always, camping and festival admittance is free. The weather is supposed to be terrific. Tonight, the Lucan Lions will be serving BBQ Beef at the community center, Rex's Lunch Box will be serving at the brewery tomorrow all day, and The Lucan Fire Dept will be serving breakfast at the community center on Sunday Morning.
