From our pal Bret Williams @ Woodchuck:

Middlebury, Vermont – In 1991 Woodchuck Amber hit store shelves. It is the original American hard cider. In the 21 years since Amber first debuted, Woodchuck has handcrafted a tradition of quality and innovation. In continuing that tradition, we proudly present Private Reserve Ginger.

It showcases the finest organic yellow ginger sourced directly from Hawaii. Woodchuck worked with a local Middlebury food co-op as well as Vermont distributor Black River Produce, to bring the fresh ginger to the Green Mountains.

Hawaii’s Big Island is one of the few places in the world that grows organic ginger, which is in season during these spring and summer months.
Private Reserve Ginger combines a crisp apple flavor with sharp ginger and citrus undertones. This perfect balance in taste pairs excellently with chicken, spicy stir-fry, and fruit salad. Six packs are already shipping nationwide, and at 6.9% ABV, the suggested retail price is $10.99.

Woodchuck Private Reserve Ginger is handcrafted with the utmost care and consideration for our dedicated fans and those just finding cider for the first time. Join the select few who’ll get to relish in the results of our Cider Maker’s creativity at work.
Cheers!
