Here’s a shocker to me, especially since I was just visiting Northern Lights Brewery. In addition to their Solar Winds, the one thing I really loved at Northern Lights was their NAME! Now comes word that Northern Light’s Mark Irvin will partner with John Bryant to rename the brewery No-Li Brewhouse. I’m hoping (begging) they continue the Solar Winds recipe…but they will also be brewing Silent Treatment Pale Ale, Crystal Bitter Ale & Born and Raised IPA. From coloradoan:
John Bryant built his career between Oregon's Deschutes Brewery, Fort Collins' Odell Brewing Co. and Oskar Blues, based in Longmont. Now, with more than 20 years of experience under his belt, Bryant is partnering with brewer Mark Irvin to open No-Li Brewhouse.
Irvin currently owns and operates the Northern Lights Brewing Co., which they will rename and rebrand No-Li Brewhouse.
"I want to do what's happening here," he said. "Look at the visionaries of the Odells and what they have brought in the 1980s. I want to use them as a model.
"
While the brewery will be located in Spokane, Bryant said he wants to distribute their beers here and give back to Fort Collins' nonprofits. Full details here.
