Half Acre Brewing (Chicago) Opening Tap Room This Sumer

imageGreat news from upstart Half Acre Brewing in Chicago. This from the Chicago Times:

In August, the five-year-old North Center brewery plans to open a taproom that will accommodate close to 100 people on the south end of its building at 4257 N. Lincoln Ave.

Half Acre owner and founder Gabriel Magliaro said the bar will have 10 taps serving Half Acre beer, including brews unavailable anywhere else. He envisions one hop-forward taproom mainstay (it won't be the brewery's biggest seller, the hop-forward Daisy Cutter) and a rotating cask pour. He also plans to invite guest brewers (professionals only; sorry homebrewers) to make one-off beers on Half Acre equipment that will be served exclusively in the taproom.  Full details here.
