I’ve been quietly following along as Two Rivers Brewing Co works toward opening their doors. Located in the former Mt Vernon Ale House, Two Rivers Brewing is a venture started by Troy Reynard (owner of Cosmic Cup) & the Vagabond Ownership Group to open a new brewery on Northampton St in Easton. Work has been underway since summer to convert the building next door to the former Weyerbacher Brewery location to a brewery & brewpub. Two Rivers is now seeking investors as part of their “Founders Club.” The owners are seeing $1,000 investors with dividends to essentially be paid in Two Rivers beer. Pending investments, an SBA Loan approval & a $450K state grant, the brewery hopes to move forward.
