As we approach Saturday night I couldn’t help but think what a wonderful time of the year this is for Hoppy beer. Yes we have Ballast Point Sculpin, Bear Republic Racer-5, Avery IPA & Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale in the basement too…but all 5 great hoppy beers in this photo have late Jan or Feb packaging dates so they are uber-fresh. I present for your enjoyment (but mostly mine) some of my absolute favorites…Ithaca Flower Power, Founders Double Trouble, Bell’s Two Hearted, Bell’s Hopslam and the latest addition to our “one big hoppy family,” Troegs Nugget Nectar. Now the only problem I have is which one to choose first and what order to enjoy them in. Suggestions?
