WFFA in Dallas/Fort-Worth TX is reporting that there were two people injured at Franconia Brewing Co (McKinney, TX) today in an explosion of what appears to be a fermenting tank.  The brewery was open and tours were going on at the time of the explosion.

McKINNEY — Two people were injured Saturday in an explosion at a small brewery in northeast McKinney.

McKinney Fire Department spokeswoman Stacie Durham said a tank exploded at Franconia Brewing Company, 495 McKinney Parkway, shortly after noon.

The blast propelled a cylinder through a wall, injuring the two people. One was airlifted by helicopter ambulance to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas for treatment; the other went by ground ambulance to Medical Center of Plano. Their names and conditions were not available.

Durham said the cause of the explosion was under investigation.
