Uptown Girl–Premium Light (Rhinelander)

I thought you’d all want a little bonus Halloween label fun, so today we have Uptown Girl Premium Light Beer.  It comes to us from Rhinelander Brewery (via Uptown Girl Beverage Co) and what’s perhaps most interesting here is that this normal looking label, is really disguising a 7oz beer…but no worries…it only has 57 calories, it’s union-made and “cool to the last drop!”

  1. I'm pretty sure Uptown Girl Beverage Co. is actually Minhas Brewery (a.k.a Mountain Crest in Canada) formerly Monroe Brewery. (http://minhasbrewery.com/)

They are known for making cheap "premium" beers and would probably account for disgusting taste.

  3. I think this beer tastes great for a light beer. They did a really good job, it is a really good idea, a beer for girls, i like beer but i hate the feeling of getting bloated and this beer doesn't really make you bloated because it is less carbonated. I love it.

  5. I could tell by the cheesy marketing it was Minhas. GROSS beer, no taste, cheapo ingredients, just tastes like chemicals, a total joke.

  9. Minhas is garbage....and they are a disgusting business.

They take small brewer tax breaks from where their corporate office is (Alberta) and use them to subsidize brewing jobs at their brewery in Wisconsin. Considering Alberta is their major market as well, its loathsome.
