I’m excited to report that we have a great event coming soon to NEPA. On Nov 5th from 10AM-4PM the Scranton Brewers Guild, Wyoming Valley Home Brewers, Tunkhannock Homebrew Club & the Waldorf Beer Club will be holding a Teach a Friend to HomeBrew Day. This event will take place at the new Breaker Brewing Co facility on Northampton St in Wilkes Barre (parking @ Lehigh St Entrance).
Whether you are a HomeBrewer, someone interesting in brewing your own beer, or just a local craft-beer lover, this is a do-not-miss event. Throughout the day the clubs will demonstrate All Grain, Extract & Partial Mash brewing demonstrations as well as informational classes on home brewing, kegging, bottling & other topics. Look for food from Krugel’s Georgetown Deli and brewing supplies from Simply Homebrew as well as all sorts of craft beer & brewing information & swag.
As if all of this isn’t fun enough, the guys tell me there will be some home brew sampling involved (must be 21 or older) AND the possibility to get a sneak peek inside the new Breaker Brewing Co facility…so be sure to get out and join the fun….I know I’ll be there!
