NEPA mybeerbuzz Flooding Updates…

mybeerbuzzv2header14
As promised I thought I’d pass on a few updates from our friends & mybeerbuzz.com members.  Since those affected are likely too busy to respond to e-Mail to post on Facebook, I apologize if there are any inaccuracies based on TV coverage and 3rd party reports.

Sabatinis: Confirmed DRY & Open!
Old Forge Brewing Co:  After a crazy 48 hours we're open again! Limited menu but a full tap list! Swing by if you need a break and lets swap flood stories. We've been thinking of everyone and hope you are all safe.
Marley's Brewery & Grill:  We will be closed until at least Monday but stay connected with us on here and we will let you know when we will reopen. Stay safe and good luck to everyone. Cheers, Marley's staff.
Troegs 9/10:  The brewery stayed dry and all is safe as of now. We are still waiting for the electricity. Our building was an island...we got lucky. Harrisburgians are looking at quite a cleanup
Dugan’s Pub:  Confirmed Dry & OPEN!
Krugel’s Georgetown Deli:  Confirmed Opening Sat
Bart & Urby’s:  Still in Mandatory Evacuation Zone.
Coopers Pittston:  IN Flood Zone & closed…likely flooded.
River St Ale House:  Flooded & closed (shown on TV)  Update:  I’m hearing that River St Ale House may actually have to be demolished and rebuilt.  Horrible news for sure.
River House Brewpub:  IN Flood Zone…likely flooded.
AuRants:  extremely limited seating tonight. we have a party of 35 in the main dining room. and will be shutting the kitchen down at nine for the safety of our employees returning home across the river. we will be opening at 5pm
Selin’s Grove Brewery:  Police enforced Curfew at 11pm tonight & tomorrow in the Grove , last call at 10pm kitchen closes at 9:30 pm
Weyerbacher:  Flooding – it really sucks.  Our hearts go out to the folks who are affected by the floods throughout PA and the rest of the Eastern Seaboard for that matter.  We are, however, located atop a very good sized hill not more than 2 miles from the interstate and are completely unaffected for day-to-day operations and as such we will be open for business on Saturday, September 10th, 2011.  See you at the brewery!
Lion Brewery:  Dry & Open
Turkey Hill Brewing: Open Wed

Nothing about the largest and most important brewing faction in wilkes-barre, the lion brewery?

  3. They're fine Prof....more of a risk for a stream flooding than the river itself.
