We had a chance to visit the Farmers Cabinet last weekend and we really enjoyed the brews and atmosphere, but what we were really excited about was the upcoming premier of Terry Hawbaker’s first brews. For those that haven’t followed along, Terry recently left Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport to brew for the Farmer’s Cabinet in Philadelphia. After some start up difficulties, the owners of the Farmer’s Cabinet purchased the former Shenandoah Brewing Company in Alexandria, VA. Terry has been traveling to Alexandria and brewing quite a few brews; a Saison, an IPA, Porter, American Wheat, Berlinerweisse, and a Grisette among others. Looks like Terry will be spending quite a bit of his time in Alexandria after premiering his first brews at the Farmers Cabinet on Aug 26th. Look for his beers not only at the Farmer’s Cabinet, but other outlets in Philadelphia and even more when the proposed tasting room opens in the Alexandria, VA brewery….so stay tuned for details.
Crooked company won't refund $250 for a gift card purchased in April which was never sent. Sent a copy of the receipt and they won't even respond.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear it Anon. Not sure that has anything to do with Terry but that's a drag.
