East End Brewing–Monkey’s Uncle

image
Here’s a great new label for my favorite brewery in the ‘burgh….East End Brewing Monkey’s Uncle Weizenbock.  I have a feeling this is what was originally labeled as Monkey’s Uncle Wheatwine….this from EEBC’s blog…”

Monkey's Uncle Wheatwine: For those that are familiar with Barleywine, but have never heard of Wheatwine, it's really just an ingredient change, on a very BIG beer.  Well, maybe a couple of substitutions.  Wheatwine is a pretty modern invention, and ours is fermented with our house Hefeweizen yeast strain, and it just went into the fermenter today.  When it's done, it should be about 9.5% abv, and will be our Belated 6th Anniversary Ale, released only at the brewery, and only in swingtop bottles.  Well, we may save a small keg for next year's Barleywine Festival, because we just can't resist.”
