Sierra Nevada–Black Vapor Lager–Brewers Summit @ Sierra Nevada

imageHere’s another interesting keg-only limited release from Sierra Nevada…..Black Vapor Lager.  This 6% lager looks to be a dark lager but I’ve also seen it listed as a California common style.  This one does seem to be available outside the brewery.

On an unrelated note…we’re still following the story about the recent get together @ Sierra Nevada with Ken Grossman, Sam Calagione, Floris Delee (DFH), Tomme Arthur (Port/Lost Abbey), Adam Avery (Avery), Rob Todd (Allagash) and Jason Perkins (Allagash) to discuss an unusual co-brew featuring some unusual purple vegetables…so stay tuned.
