PA FLAVOR: A CELEBRATION OF FOOD & BEER SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, APRIL 9 AT FARM SHOW ARENA
New Event Brings Together Pennsylvania Breweries, Restaurant and Food Producers for Unique Tasting Event
PA Flavor: A Celebration of Food and Beer will take place Saturday, April 9, 1 to 5 p.m. at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, PA.
This sampling event is designed to educate attendees about beer and food producers in Pennsylvania and gain an understanding of how well beer and food complement each other. More than 25 Pennsylvania breweries will participate along with numerous restaurants and food producers. Food and beer pairings will be recommended to attendees and food producers will be offering samples and selling packaged food to go as well.

This event is a great showcase of Pennsylvania products” said Artie Tafoya, Director of Operations for Appalachian Brewing Company. “We are very fortunate to have so many great breweries, restaurants, and food producers in our state.”
“Pennsylvania has thriving agricultural community and a long history of brewing great beers,” said Frank Jurbala, Director, Bureau of Market Development, PA Dept. of Agriculture. “With the increased popularity of craft beer paired with quality food, we want to showcase the incredible offerings available throughout the Commonwealth.”
Advance tickets are $40 ($20 for designated driver tickets) and all attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are available at the door for $50 (cash only). Proceeds from the event benefit the Brewers of Pennsylvania (a non-profit organization protecting the interest of Pennsylvania brewers), the American Culinary Federation and the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation.
