Here’s your first look at the label for the Brew Works Chatfield Manor IPA. This 12oz 6.5% west coast IPA will be brewed in support of the North East Art Rock festival (NEARFest) 2011. According to the Brew Works website, “Chatfield Manor
is the title of a Mike Keneally song from the album, Sluggo! (1998). The song refers to the house of Mike’s manager and good friend Scott Chatfield, where Mike often writes and records his music.
Mike and Scott were so thrilled by having the title used for this year’s beer, that they decided to register chatfieldmanor.com with the intention to provide a free download of “Chatfield Manor” when the beer is first tapped at the Bethlehem Brew Works on NEARfest Weekend 2011.” This beer will be available only at the Bethlehem Brew Works location.
Also today we see the new 12oz packaging for Devious Imperial Pumpkin Ale. This was previously only available in 750ml bottles, so like many other Brew Works beers, they are now selling 12oz bottles.
Nearfest 2011 has been cancelled. I wonder if they'll still release the beer as planned.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they filed for label approval before it was cancelled so it should be interesting to see what they do.
