Genesee–Now in 12oz & 16oz Cans

imageI’ll admit Genesee isn’t what we’d consider a “craft” beer by any means…but I’ll also admit I have a soft spot for Genesee based on, lets just say “college memories.”  So it was fun to see our friends at High Falls Brewing in Rochester, NY gain approval for 12oz and 16oz cans for “regular” Genny.

    I dont understand... I drank genny in 12 oz cans this summer. Do you mean approval for the label you are showing (which is a different label than i drank)? because 12 oz cans are readily available.

    Lee the label I'm showing is the 16oz but the 12oz is new packaging from what you previously consumed. Sometimes these are VERY subtle changes, and sometimes they're pretty significant. In this case I believe they changed "Our 1 Brewery makes it best" to "One great brewery one great taste."

    Cool, thanks for the clarification. These new (retro) labels are much cooler, I will be sure to drink them come summer.

    I agree Lee...one of the reasons I posted it on a predominantly craft beer site is beacusae of our local interest and the great retro labels.
