We’ve talked about the release of Biere del L’amitie in the past so it was exciting to see the approval for the label today as well as the approval for their updated Saison. St Feuillien is one of my favorite beers, especially as it relates to people trying to pronounce the name after drinking one. The Saison approval is a subtle packaging change, and the beer will now come in around 6.5% ABV in the11.2oz packaging. The Biere de L’amitie (Friendship of Beer) is a co-brew between St Feuillien and Green Flash Brewing in San Diego. Look for the beer to be a Belgian blond using St Feuillien yeast, spices, rye malt & wheat malt. Add in dry-hopped American Amarillo hops and you should have a pretty interesting brew. The beer comes in at 9.5% ABV and is packaged in 25.4oz bottles.
