The Great Brews Classic Beer Festival @ Split Rock Nov 20 & 21

Beer festival at Split Rock ResortThe annual beer festival at Split Rock resort has been renamed and slightly revamped.  Look for the festival to run from Noon-4PM on Sat Nov 20 & 21st in the normal Galleria location and to be called the Great Brews Classic Beer Festival rather than the previous Great American Beer Festival….to reflect the inclusion of non-US breweries.  They are limiting ticket sales on Sat and raising the price for in-person purchases.  So far they are advertising 50 breweries.  I can confirm Breaker Brewing Co will be in attendance an addition as of yesterday the following list of 52 breweries (sort of):

  1. They should keep Corona, Becks, Amstel, and the like all together in that first room in order to sepererate the people who are there for different reasons.

  2. If it leaves more Troegs, Weyerbacher & JJ Bitting for me, I'm OK if they sell Kool-Aid...but I'd be in favor of that room segregation as well. Doubtful sinc ethey are distributors representing all sorts of brands (some more, some less-macro)
