Back in Sept we posted up info that Victory “leaked” in their FaceBook Page about the purchase of some new barrels…and now we know why. Victory will be releasing a new beer called Dark Intrigue. And based purely on a Victory twit (twitter not a person), the beer will be bottle-only and most likely a Nov 24th release. Victory is calling this a “Malt Beverage Aged in Bourbon Barrels” but I’m hearing it is actually the Storm King recipe, aged in barrels…so it should be a pretty interesting beer. Here’s the video.
