Well we’ve officially crossed over the one month mark on the Friday Beerbuzz. With five shows under our belts, the show keeps getting more and more fun, and hopefully you’re hearing that on the radio. We’re starting to talk about having beer-guests on the show and I’m really looking forward to that as well. We’re also hearing from our listeners which I really like. If you have a beer question, beer comment or show suggestions please e-Mail any of us ( webster@wilknewsradio.com, nancy@wilknewsradio.com mybeerbuzz@gmail.com ) and we’ll do our best to answer them, maybe even on the air. You can also comment here on mybeerbuzz (comment link under every post), you can comment on WILK’s Friday Beerbuzz Page, and you can find all of us on Facebook as well.
This past w
eek we enjoyed a great gateway beer called Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale. If you’re not a beer lover OR if you love a more mainstream beer, this may be the beer that is your gateway to liking craft beer. Try it out and see for yourself. We also had our first correct guess of our beer of the week when Josh guessed our beer of the week with just one clue….congrats and a beer to Josh. So what’s this week’s beer hint? Hint: This weeks beer premiered at Philly Beer Week so you Can see on Friday why I chose this great local summer seasonal. Tune in and see what beer we sample on the Friday Beerbuzz on WILK…bringing good beers and good people together.
Tune in this Friday (6/11/2010) at 8:30AM on WILK (103.1FM or wilknewsradio.com) and see what beer it is!
We have Vince Sweeney stopping by the show on Thursday but I'll be sure to invite him back for Friday if he can make it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I know, who doesn't look forward to Friday but I look forward to getting to "work" on Friday so we can enjoy another installment of The Friday Beerbuzz!
Thanks John...can't wait to hear Vince tomorrow. If it weren;t for the "sleep-in factor" Friday morning would already be my favorite morning of the week!
