By the way, I made it to Old Forge last weekend, my first visit since a week after their opening, and the experience was everything I had hoped. The first time, the beers were good, but I thought they would improve over time. Didn't get to eat there then, but vowed I would next time, since the buzz about it was very good.
No disappointments at all on Saturday! An attentive, friendly (and attractive!) staff pouring wonderful beers, and food that in itself will cause me to return much sooner than my last turn-around. Outstanding stuff! The outdoor deck upstairs was busy, and the sidewalk tables were full. Old Forge is not only a great addition to downtown Danville, it jacks up the quality of PA's brewpub scene a notch.
