And the macros get even bigger...

As we watch InBev chase after AB, word comes that anti-trust regulators in Washington DC have approved the proposed merger of Miller & Coors. Given that Coors is already owners by Molson, this merger could potentially create a macro-beer industry that really only has two brewery conglomerates. I'm not sure how it will play out, but I smell an even larger opportunity for the micro-breweries across america. Good news for the macro drinkers of the world...now you can go into a bar and order a "beer" without specifying which one and you'll get pretty much the same brew. Bartender, I'll have a MillerCoorsMolson...no wait....maybe an AnheuserInBev...

  1. I thought they already were the same. And it also suggests another reason to drink local/regional whenever possible.
