August Beer Releases from Hi-Wire BrewingFrom Hi-Wire Brewing:

Hi-Wire Brewing has announced the details of its seasonal & specialty releases for August, including Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh Batch #3, a barrel-aged Blueberry Sour, and an Apricot Blonde for charity.

The haze-train continues at Hi-Wire Brewing this August, with the third release in their popular series of Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh (7.5% ABV). Batch #3 of this New England India Pale Ale is double dry-hopped with Azacca, Mosaic, and Amarillo to make this beer full of bright hop aroma, with a silky smooth finish. A grip of oats and a touch of lactose round out this super hazy, crushable, and citrusy IPA with subtle notes of peppercorn. Available in 4-packs of 16oz cans, this beer will see limited distribution beginning August 17. August Beer Releases from Hi-Wire Brewing

Hi-Wire Brewing’s award-winning Sour Blonde takes an extended rest in oak barrels on blueberries, 14.5 months to be exact, to create the Blueberry Sour Ale (7.5% ABV). Bright notes of pomegranate, blueberry tea, and brett build a well-balanced sourness in this vibrant, blueberry flesh colored sour ale. Blueberry Sour Ale will be available on draft and in 750ml cork and cage bottles beginning Saturday, August 18 at 12pm from Hi-Wire Brewing’s South Slope Sour & Wild Ale facility. This beer will not see distribution and will only be available in Hi-Wire’s taprooms. August Beer Releases from Hi-Wire Brewing

For the third year in a row, Hi-Wire Brewing has partnered with the French Broad Riverkeeper Beer Series, presented by MountainTrue and Blue Ridge Orthodontics, to create a limited-release beer where a portion of the proceeds from the sales supports the work of the French Broad Riverkeeper, protecting the French Broad River watershed. This year Hi-Wire Brewing will be releasing an Apricot Blonde (4.6% ABV). This crispy golden blonde river beer sports big stone fruit aroma from apricot complemented by floral and citrus notes from a late addition of Loral hops. To celebrate, on Saturday, August 25, Hi-Wire Brewing will be co-hosting a French Broad River & Hominy Creek cleanup, with a beer release party, Hi-Wire Brewing tap takeover, and live music (artist TBD), all happening at French Broad Outfitters after the clean-up. The special release beer will be available in 6-packs of 12oz cans beginning Saturday, August 25 and will see limited distribution throughout Western North Carolina.
